You're sad. You're anxious about the state of the world. You're heartbroken by how the vast majority of humans treat animals, the planet, even each other.
You don’t know if you can bite your tongue ONE MORE TIME around your coworker who is obsessed with her dog AND with her bacon-loaded keto diet— and that’s just one of dozens of moments and interactions every single day that weigh heavy on your heart and make it challenging to live day-to-day as a vegan in a non-vegan world.
What is Vegan & Vibrant?
We are a collective of mental health and allied professionals whose mission is to support the ethical vegan community in their mental, emotional, spiritual health so they can live more vibrant lives AND be stronger advocates for animal and human liberation.
We are therapists, dietitians, life coaches, yoga teachers, and visionaries who not only share your values of compassion for animals, but also understand the unique social and emotional challenges you face as a vegan.
We are not here to judge or shame anyone into changing their behavior. Rather, we are “vegangelists” helping spread the message that it is not only possible to survive as a vegan (we’re good on protein, thanks), but to THRIVE— physically, mentally, and emotionally.
OUR SHARED CALLING
We are living through an incredibly significant historical moment right now as we are barreling toward what deep ecologist Joanna Macy calls “the Great Unraveling.” Our Earth home— and all her inhabitants, the rivers, forests, humans, and more-than-human animals— are deeply hurting.
But you, my dear, have refused to remain in the delusion of Business as Usual (“this is just the way things are, deal with it”) OR the hopelessness of the unraveling (“most people eat meat, so what difference does one person make?”).
